jongdae who cried when he wrote the lyrics to promise, who broke down when he performed the song to the rest of the members, who teared up on stage performing for thousands because the song represents all that he can’t say- all his negative thoughts, regrets, broken promises but also all his love for the fans, for the people who stood by him and continue to be the reason he performs, the people who give him a reason to sing and dance on stage. jongdae who spilled out his heart and wrote us promises to do better, to stay together for as long as possible. jongdae who doesn’t know how to properly convey his sadness and anger and love so he does through with song lyrics and unshed tears. the jongdae who i hope knows that he shouldn’t be afraid to cry in front of others, that he deserves to be on stage as much as the others and that his contribution and love to the group and us (fans) will always be enough - has always been enough-  and he should cry as much as he wants because we’re not afraid of sharing his burden and we won’t judge him because really this boy looks like he’s carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders when we (fans) would - could- easily carry it for him. i just hope jongdae knows that we’re here for him and we’ll support him to the ends of the world so there’s no reason to hold his tears back and apologize for broken promises and regrets.
